16 induced current in loop near wire
A circular wire loop is placed near a long straight , current- carrying wire in which the current is either increasing or decreasing. In which of the above situations is the induced current in the loop counterclockwise?
Answer is C:
Magnetic field direction is perpendicularly out of paper.
Current is decreasing,
the magnetic field produced by the loop has the same direction.
so the current is counterclockwise.
